Public Workshop 1
The first Rensselaer Public Workshop is at 6 PM on Tuesday July 21, 2026 at the City Hall Court Room. Everyone is welcome to join! Additional engagement opportunities are planned in August. Come share your vision, goals, and priorities for the future of Rensselaer’s downtown area!
Project Sponsor Info Session
On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, municipal representatives and the consultant team members, led by LaBella Associates, will host a Project Sponsor Informational Session from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm, followed by the first Public Workshop from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. The Project Sponsor Informational Session will provide an opportunity for potential project sponsors to learn more about the DRI program, ask questions about the project application process, and discuss project concepts with the planning team. Additionally, a recorded Open Call Informational Presentation will be posted on this website.
LPC Meeting 1
LPC Meeting 1 will kick off the Rensselaer Rising DRI Process. This will be a working session of the Local Planning Committee and there will be an opportunity for public comment. The LPC will meet regularly throughout the planning process. The meeting will review the planning process, detail the City’s DRI application, and initiate a discussion about the study area, vision, and goals of the DRI. City Hall has an accessible entrance on the right side of the building. View the meeting slides here.
